Patch on right is broadweave nylon handbag material "buttered" both sides with silcon sealer. This will replace the original's diaphragm. Rod on left is made from old alternator bolt (long with threaded end) with 2 nuts,dished and plain washers on threaded end. These will be either side of diaphragm material.
